Last weekend we were on-board with a pretty bizarre event that went down in the Borrego Desert outside of San Diego, CA. John Freis, a restauranteur, decided to tie about 172 6′ balloons to his modified lawn chair and go float around for 4 hours at 12,000′. (Note: Freis is a professional, dont try this at home). The video is still to come but here are some photos of what we are talking about.
