- Best Day and On A Rail
We are pleased to announce that we have come together with the Best Day Foundation for a series of events to fundraise and help bring surfing to children with needs. The first event is in Ventura this Saturday. We will be showing On A Rail:Europe as well as Jack Johnson’s En Concert, and Glas film’s The Ripple Effect.
There will be a silent auction and we are pleased to announce that we will be auctioning off a 15-day first class Eurail pass (Worth over $1,000)

- Spy Girls in Hawaii Behind The Scenes
Here’s a quick look at the Spy girls showing off their favorite shades and shooting the ad campaign for 2010. Athletes Alana Blanchard and Erika Steiner along with model Hannah get their stuff done. Hope you enjoy.
- North Shore Hawaii with team Spy
So we’re over here on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, for the annual pilgrimage with everyone else in the surf industry. Its been a quiet few days for surfing but thats okay because we’ve had plenty of other stuff to do. One of our clients, Spy Optics, has been shooting their Summer 2010 ad campaigns with a range of their athletes. Yesterday we nailed down Clay Marzo and Benny B. Also, Torrey Meister and Alana Blanchard surfed in the Vans Triple crown event at Hale’iwa. Alana won the girls division and is the current points leader for the Vans Triple Crown. We are over here in Hawaii (fly in yesterday, what a flight, don’t fly United) working with a few surf companies for the week. The waves aren’t so great but that’s okay by us as we have a lot of work to do. Check back soon for updates.

- Lawn Chair Balloon flight
Last weekend we were on-board with a pretty bizarre event that went down in the Borrego Desert outside of San Diego, CA. John Freis, a restauranteur, decided to tie about 172 6′ balloons to his modified lawn chair and go float around for 4 hours at 12,000′. (Note: Freis is a professional, dont try this at home). The video is still to come but here are some photos of what we are talking about.

- On A Rail to be featured in Oceanside Film Fest
On A Rail will be featured in the Oceanside Film Festival this Saturday at 3:45 at the Sunshine Brooks Theatre. On A Rail producer/director, Tim Ryan, will be on hand for a Q&A with the audience.
The festival has selected over 30 films from and international field, including the featured documentary Running The Sahara, narrated by Acadamy Award Winning Actor Matt Damon. This is the first annual film fest which Oceanside plans to continue to endorse for many years to come.

Spike’s at it again-this time its his most ambitious project to date. We’re not only fans of what Spike Jonze has done cinematically, but look where he came from-skate videos. He’s worked his way up through the ranks of music videos, shorts, commercials and into features.
